Would Travel If You Can Save $500-$2000 For A All Inclusive Vacation?
if you can save money and travel at the sametime wouldnt you travel and how many times per month?
The all-inclusive vacation: smart buy or sucker bet? Tell us why?
The all-inclusive vacation: smart buy or sucker bet? Tell us why? Say goodbye to calculating exchange rates and worrying about pickpockets. Say hello to the "all-inclusive" vacation, where all you have to do is show up and get a tan. Is this pitch just too good to be true? Tell us what you think and why. greetings. : )
Is a Cruse a good Value?
My wife and I recently went on an Alaskan Cruse for 7 days. The cost was about $1400 per person. This sounds expensive (the cost was about $800 for the cruse and $600 in port fees and taxes paid at the time of booking) until you consider this includes your room, transportation and meals for 7 days. If you don't want to spend any extra money there are lots of activities you can do on shore and on the ship for no charge. If you want an all inclusive vacation a cruse may be the way for you to go. You can pay ahead of time, enjoy your vacation not have to spend any extra money. They do suggest that you tip the people who wait on you, but you know this amount ahead of time.Would I go on another Cruse? Yes and I have been checking into different ones.
Discount Vacation Gone Bad
Have you ever found a really good deal on an all inclusive vacation only to find out that you wasted not only your money but your valuable vacation time?I had this happen to me once. The brochure and reality were two diffferent things! On the beach apparantly meant a 15 minute walk. 3 meals a day provided in a cafeteria style restaurant similar in ambience and food to an old age home.A pool surrounded by a few broken chairs you could never seem to get anyways. There was more but it was crazy. I travel a lot and I am not one of those people that expects everything to be 5 star. This was apparantly a 4 star but I would rate it as a 2.
Do you like to Stay in a all inclusive resort or a Hotel
Sometimes I stay all inclusive which means you get Airfare,Hotel, drinks and food all included in your package. I find this way does save money. But when I have more money I will just get a villa or stay in a hotel. But you will have to spend more money to eat and drink. What do you prefer?
Starbucks: Inclusive Culture? I think not...
Starbucks may have started with a great aim and idea to make coffee houses unlike anything the world had ever seen, and since their introduction to Pike Place in Seattle, WA, they have taken the world by storm. However, with the power that comes from a business like Starbucks taking off as quickly as it did, and as successfully as it did, comes greed and corruption. The Kroger Corporation implemented a new way of thinking of their customers, in terms of "internal customers" and "external customers." External customers are the customers who come into the establishment, spend their money, and hopefully come back. The internal customers (the employees) are considered just as important to please as the external customers, because without happy internal customers, the external customers are less likely to receive the type of service that would make them want to return. Starbucks may aim to please their customers, and give the customers something that they want to come back to, however, quite often, Starbucks has been negligent of their "internal customers."Although it may not be as well known to external customers, Starbucks is notorious (especially among former employees) for...
All Inclusive Vacations
My husband and I would love to take a vacation that is 'All Inclusive' Has anyone ever taken one of these vacations and to where? I've heard this is the best way to go, since all expenses are paid upfront. For those who may not know what I mean by 'all inclusive' it means that the hotel, tips, meals, drinks are included in the price. We were looking at the US Virgin Islands, St Thomas at the Wyndham hotel. It seems pretty nice and all, but I'd like feedback. We'd like to go April 2009 timeframe. Spring would just be beginning and the weather should be really comfortable during that time period.
All inclusive holiday experiences
I received an email today from a consumer who has just returned back from what sounds like a nightmare time in Mexico, on an all inclusive holiday. This isn’t the first time that I have read bad experiences with all inclusive holidays and it has made me think is the extra cost for an unlimited supply of food and drink really worth it. All inclusive holiday experiences Not only was the food horrendous, the beer watered down (you’d get hung for that in Yorkshire) but they were advised not to go outside of the resort unless on a tour, because it was dangerous due to the high levels of crime on tourists!Personally, it wouldn’t be my type of holiday because I like to choose where and what I eat, and I don’t like to have to stick to times to eat, i.e. breakfast before 10am etc. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts and experiences on all inclusive holidays?
All-Inclusive or NOT?
I am a budget traveler that likes to eat, drink and play where the locals do. Have never gone all-inclusive and probably never will. I just don't see the appeal of a buffet, crowds, mega-resorts and fighting over a pool chair. A luxury resort for a honeymoon or anniversary is something I would consider. Why go to another country if you don't want to see it, meet the people and try their food?I understand not wanting to think or do much on vacation. It's possible to veg out on the beach and get served drinks and food without staying at a giant monstrosity with a required wristband. Eating local food and exploring are part of the fun of visiting a new place. If you only stay on the resort property and behind a locked gate you might as well go to Florida. Mexico, Jamaica and Dominican Republic seem to have many all inclusive resorts. If you have only gone AI, would you consider going European plan? What reasons have kept you from venturing out?
Where is the best place to find an all inclusive trip to South Padre Island?
My friends and I are planning a spring break vacation to celebrate our last year in college. We want to go to South Padre Island, Texas and I was just wondering if any of you knew a good place to get an all inclusive trip booked. Let me know!
