| Anyone ever stay in Cancun | | We are planning a getaway for the end of January. We usually go to the Caribbean in the spring whether it's a cruise, or just visit an Island for a week. This year we must travel early due to family obligations, and are looking into Cancun staying at one of the Inclusive Hotels. I usually book online but I think I may use a travel agent for help though I think I can get it cheaper via the net. Also, do you think we should get travel insurance for this trip, and dose the travel insurance cover our rent a car or do we need to get auto insurance for the car rental. Any help is greatly appreciated. | |
| | I won a trip to Cancun! | | I just received a call from my mobile saying that I just won a trip to Cancun! Grrrr![em]angry[/em]
How do these people get my number! I sat through one of these calls before until I found out that I had to purchase something to avail of my prize. That's why they are asking for my credit card number. Geez! What do they think? I was born yesterday?
So I hang up mid sentence!
Do you get these calls? What do you do? | |
| | Advice on traveling to Cancun Mexico | | Hubby and I just found a really good deal on airline tickets to Cancun. Like the last minute planners we are we are thinking about taking advantage of cheap airfare and having a belated honeymoon in Cancun. I don't know hardly anything about the different areas in Cancun so I need advice. Here is my line of questions for you all:Where are the areas to avoid? What are the can't miss places in Cancun?Should we rent a car or is public transportation good enough? We are thinking about staying in the Radisson in Downtown Cancun (we can get a room deeply discounted). Is downtown Cancun a good area to stay? Is downtown hip and happening or scary?I'm sure I'm missing some questions. These are just the ones at the top of my head right now. If you all have anything to add please do. Thanks! | |
