| | Anyone like the Carry On films? | | Does anyone else like the Carry On films? I have loved them since I was a child in the 1970s and used to watch them with my Dad when they were shown on TV. I now own the complete collection of 30 films on DVD and still enjoy watching them. My favourites are Carry On Abroad and Carry On Cleo. The only one I don't really like is Emmannuelle as I think it went too far and wasn't as funny. I love all the Carry On team, especially Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Hattie, Jim Dale and Joanie, not forgetting Bernard Bresslaw. Such amazing talent involved in these films and I still love watching them now with my own children. | |

| Should congress ban airlines from charging for carry-on luggage? | | As you may have heard, Spirit Airlines will begin charging passengers $30-$45 for each bag of carry-on luggage. Checked bags currently cost $20 for the first and $25 for the second (a third costs $100). Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has vowed to push legislation that would bad airlines from charging for carry-on luggage. What are your opinions on this? Obviously none of us want more charges for what are already overpriced flights, but is it congress's job to prevent this? I'm a bit on the fence for this one. On a side note I despise Spirit Airlines. They do have the absolute worst customer service and will nickel and dime you for everything with separate charges that often lead to my credit card being declined because the bank flags it after too many internet transactions at once.So what are your opinions?
