Does anyone have any international travel plans this summer, do tell?
I would love to hear of anyone the is traveling abroad and where they are going.
help needed for international travel
I have a question...kind of stupid actually...but I really need to know.I am planning on traveling to the Philippines in July and I have a flat screen tv that would fit perfect in my carry-on luggage. I really want to bring it home with me because I have barely used it and it would be a shame if I had t buy a new one in the Philippines when this one is perfectly fine.Does anyone know if my plan is doable? Is this allowed? To pack it in my carry-on luggage. That way I know it is safe and easier to carry compared to putting it in a box and hand-carrying it. If I do put it in my luggage, will I need to take it out in the security area the way we do for laptops? I hope someone can help me.
What do you think is the best airline for international travel?
Based on your travel experiences, which airline gave you the best service, the best price/deal and overall a pleasant experience when traveling internationally?
Where would you travel if you had all the money in the world?
I noticed that a lot of people are aiming to travel lately. With cheaper airfare, the burning curiosity to find out about the cultures in other countries can now be satisfied.:) Personally, I would like to travel to places that have always sparked my interest. So I'm starting a discussion, for all of us to share the Top 5 destinations we would like to travel to, if money were not a problem.:)Here are my Top 5 countries:1) China - I've always felt a soul tie to this country. Also, I would love to see the misty mountains there, more than watch the sunset on the Great Wall of China.2) Japan - I think it would be so romantic to have the cherry blossom petals fall on your head during its season.:) 3) France - Wine, cheese, chocolate, romance galore. I'd love to have a date with my future husband here. Escargot, anyone? 4) Scotland - I've fallen in love with the concept of kilts and bagpipes since I read it as a little girl. To go see the archaic, mysterious castles, to watch the bagpipes "live," and to wear a kilt... Even though these are for boys... Seem like an adventure worth praying for.5) Venice and Poveglia, Italy - I've never really thought about...
I haven;t been outside the country. Am I the only one?
I honestly feel like I'm the only one who's left dreaming of what it's like being in another country. Most of the people i know have gone to trips or vacations to other countries. My mother, my sister, my friends... they've been to a foreign land and I'm the only one that's left dreaming here. Why am I so underprivileged? Why are opportunities so limited for me? Are there anybody out here who's like me? You know, I hate reading about other people's travel experiences because instead of reading for information, i tend to feel so low. i don't want to work abroad. i just want to experiences what it's like to see the other part of this world. How about you, guys?
East Coast of USA to Ecuador?
Any suggestions for cheapest and or easiest way of getting to Ecuador from USA? I live in Delaware. My nearest airports are Philadelphia, Baltimore, and DC.Thanks for your suggestions.
Do you have a passport?
I got my first passport a couple years ago for a trip to France. It is expensive to get one! And kind of a hassle... good things it lasts a long time. Mine at least came in the mail pretty quickly, too. So do you have a passport? Is it current? Is it convenient for you to get one or is it expensive and a hassle like it was for me?
Which are the first three countries you have visited?
Which are the first three countries that you have visited? Did you like those countries? What did you enjoy seeing? I visited France when I was a child. I loved seeing the attractive architecture and found the cobbled streets quite charming. I liked hearing the French language ever so much. When I was a teenager I saved up enough money to go to Greece with my mum. The weather was really warm and so that was first hot country that I went to. I adored seeing the white washed houses and ornate looking churches. It was exciting to go to Athens and see all the historic sites. I got a job in a shop on Saturdays and saved up money for traveling with a friend to the Netherlands. We went to Amsterdam and we visited Anne Frank's house. I really liked seeing the pretty looking canals.
Which country do your want to travel?
Which country do you want to travel? China, USA, Japan, Malaysia,Austrilia or else? Why? And you would like to go to which place of historic interests and scenic beauty? Can you named it? For me, I'd like to travel Malaysia, because I have a penpal here. I want to see her.[em]rasp[/em]
