which would you rather have my ocean front propert in AZ or my red paper clip
Ok y'all Over the weekend I have to say I got myself in a 'dispute' with another member, who seems to think I'm jealous of them...HA HA HEE HEE HOO HOOO WHOOO WHOOOO....over their earnings of 10.00, um yea, but that's not it.... its more complicated than that....But what I want to know is would you prefer my red paper clip or my ocean front property in Arizona....It seems I have stupid typed all over me and my posts...Wait maybe I could put it on ebay and sell it for a fortune, or maybe I could find the Virgin Mary in the sand where they were digging at the old Mason ranch, So tell me can I mess with you or should i just pull up the sounds of George Strait and listen to him sing it better than I can convey ithere.Mooch
describe where you live in a few key words!
here is a game i want to play. i know, i've said it before and i'll say it again, small things amuse me! lol.without disclosing the name of the place you live, describe your location using a few keywords. there really is no way to win this stupid game or anything...i am just interested in hearing what words you use to describe your hometown!:) i'm a big traveler so i'm forever interested in different places around the world.okay here is mine:fishing village, harbour, ocean front, fog, boats, historic, seafood, ice cream shops on every corner, beaches, rocky shores, whale watching
I am sick and tired of junk mail
I am so tired of getting junk mail in my email accounts, especially Yahoo. Why do they feel they have to send me information on male enhancement and Viagra ads? If I need something like that then my husband won't be with me any longer. What about the ads from the drug companies offering this drug or that? Then along come the ads that want to give me credit cards, 1000's of dollars in money, ahh hello, they haven't checked my credit lately! My banker almost fell out of his chair when I walked in and told him I wanted a loan. Hey I figured if the internet people want to help me, maybe he would too. Guess he didn't see it my way. What about those ads from "You have one classmate looking for you". Oh wow, heck if I wanted to look for my class of 72, I just need to go to the closet pub. That's where most hang out. No thank you, I'll stay home, not that interested in seeing what they look like now. I did that at our 30th class reunion, stayed 15 minutes, then left. Rather scary night! And last but not least, if I have won as much money as they say I have from all over the world, I would be sitting here typing this from some ocean front property, waiting for a steak to be...
Hail and Snow ruined Valentine's Day plans
I had this great plan set up for a candle light dinner by the ocean for Valentine's dinner. I even had a friend hired to put on a tux and serve dinner.Murphy's law set in: It hailed yesterday in Baja (where it's sunny and warm the other 364 days of the year). And it snowed in parts of San Diego, California yesterday (also known as sunny Southern California for it's warm weather the other 364 days of the year). We have miles of ocean front to choose from, but, Mr. Weather would not cooperate. Today, it's sunny and warm! Isn't that just great! Why couldn't we get this 75-degree weather yesterday????!!!???Do you have a similar experience?
Yuwie, October earnings are up
Well I'm glad that I'm not in it for the money, because I was the most active there and earned the least amount there. The RSR (whatever that means) was .36 and my earnings for October was 36 cents, so unless I explode my downline, which I don't see happening I don't see making payout any time soon, or within the next 2 years. So I'll be back here more, so I can make a few exxtra bucks honestly.I'm not giving Yuwie up, I have a blast there, and writing in their text editor is much better than here. But maybe someone has some Ocean Front Property in Arizona I can buy iwth my 36 cents. How 'bout you how did you fare.Mooch
Why people love L.A.?-discover the best of Los Angles, the "City of Angles"
Welcome to Los Angles, the second largest city in American! L.A. is home to the famous American movie and TV industry. Here you'll also discover one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. Many of the people come from Latin America, Asia and other parts of the world. L.A. contains lots of natural beauty, too. The Pacific coast lies to the west and south. Mountains and deserts border the north and east. Because of the city's location, temperatures are almost always pleasant. The sun always seems to shine in L.A.! In L.A. the car is king. L.A. has more traffic than anywhere else in the U.S. In fact, owning a car is nearly a necessity in L.A. because of the city's large urban sprawl. Many first-time visitors are amazed by the city's size. With no large downtown area, L.A. more a collection of suburbs connected together. One of these is Anaheim. In ANaheim, you can experience the magic of Disneyland. Visit the park's eight fantastic "land" in an area called "the happiest place on Earth." city of the stars Want to see where many of the city's movie stars live? Life is busy
We are very busy doing the chores, cleaning the lawn and backyards, gardening, dropping and picking up kids from schools, dance classes and soccer fields, not to speak of the endless office work. We don't have the time for softer things of life like watching the birds fly high above in the blue sky, counting the stars in a dark, starry night, enjoying the waves from a quiet ocean front or staring at the sparkling dew on top of the grass blade in the early morning. I don't know about you, but I think these things are missing in our lives. We are going farther and farther away from nature. We are becoming more mechanical everyday. Let me know what you think about your life.
St Andrews Bay FLorida Vacation visit
Near Panama City Beach this is a great place to go. It is at the far east end of PCB, much quieter. They have a little nature center in the building that tells about the surrounding sea life and ways you can volunteer to help out. There is a little swamp area to look at. The best part about the bay is the swimming area. It is surrounded on 2 sides by rocks, with the beach area on the other two sides. The water is very clear, it's like swimming in a big pool of water with sand and rocks around you, well some fish too! The dolphins play on the opposite side of the rocks and it will chase all these little schools of fish near you. I like it because my kids are safer, they aren't out in the open ocean just floating around, and I can see my feet! I know that sounds funny, but I just have this thing about my feet dangling in murky water that sharks swim in...(insert Jaws theme here)...Anyway, as a family our favorite time to go is when all the spring break people are NOT there. If you camp there is a great campground off of middle beach road, it's not ocean front, but it is affordable. We have stayed at the Osprey, nice, family friendly and quiet, but my FAV place was when we checked...
Attract Success...by JON (Let me know if this helps you!)
Attract Success Five years ago, while at a party, my friend Sandy Davidson and I realized we had a lot in common. We both went to Cornell University. We both lived in Atlanta. We were married to great women (I hope my wife reads this). We both had dreams of living near the beach and we both wanted a lot more fulfillment from our lives and careers. A year later I made the move to Ponte Vedra beach. Sandy was still in Atlanta, unhappy with his job and life. Then a few years later I received a call from Sandy. He and his wife Jenna had made the move to St. Simons Island, Georgia, only about an hour from where I live. Jenna obtained a job selling real estate while Sandy went to work selling home sites for a national land development company. When we went to visit Sandy and Jenna not too long ago, I asked them how they made the move- how they went from where they were to where they wanted to be. Their story is a lesson for us all. They bought a subscription to Coastal Living Magazine and started looking at all the pictures of houses on the beach. They bought a regular spiral bound notebook and on the front of the notebook they taped a picture of an ocean front...
